Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a pusher during an entrapment operation in Naga City, Camarines Sur on March 10, 2017.

PDEA Director General Isidro S. Lapeña identified the suspect as Gomer Chica y Langitan, 34 years old, married, electrician and a resident of Mangayawan, Canaman, Camarines Sur.   

At around 5:00 in the afternoon, agents of PDEA Regional Office 5 (PDEA RO5) under the direct supervision of Regional Director Emerson Margate, together with Camarines Sur CIDT and Naga CPO-PS3, conducted a buy-bust operation against the suspect in Queborac Road, Bagumbayan Norte, Naga City, Camarines Sur. Confiscated from the suspect were nine transparent plastic sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu, weighing more or less 12 grams, worth Php59,735, weighing scale, surgical scissor, two pieces of lighter and money used during the operation.

Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 12 (Possession of Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing in court against Chica.
