PDEA LEADS DRUG INTERDICTION TASK GROUP AT CLARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
To efficiently synchronize anti-illegal drug efforts at the Clark International Airport (CRK), the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) shall lead the CRK Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (IADITG).

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has vowed to make its presence felt by the Filipino people through an intensified fight against illegal drugs and raise the level of anti-drug operations a notch higher. PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. stressed this during the PDEA 12th Anniversary Celebration on July 30, 2014, Wednesday, at the PDEA National Headquarters in Quezon City
“The PDEA, with its 1,619 strong operatives, administrative and technical personnel, will continue to perform its mandate with equal fervor and intensity to keep our communities safe from the evil clutches of dangerous drugs,” Cacdac said, taking cue from the anniversary theme, “Pinag-Ibayong Laban Kontra Droga”.

APICC’S SECRETARY GENERAL VISITS THE PHILIPPINES, STRENGTHENS ANTI-DRUG CAPABILITIES OF PDEA REGIONAL OFFICES
The Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Information and Coordination Center for Combating Drug Crimes (APICC) and Director of the Narcotics Division of the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office - Republic of Korea (SPO-ROK) recently visited the Philippines to strengthen the national campaign against illegal drugs in the regions as part of the implementation of “2014 Anti-Drug Capability Build-Up Support Program in the Philippines”.

OPERATION PRIVATE EYE
Ten (10) civilian informants received P5.8 million in cash rewards from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) under the PDEA Operation Private Eye.
The Private Eye Rewards Committee, composed of members from academe, non-government organizations, law enforcement, religious and business sectors, approved a resolution granting a total of P5.8 million monetary rewards to the 10 informants after a careful deliberation.
