The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) recently cited the exemplary contributions of five PDEA officers, one PDEA personnel, two anti-drug law enforcement units and four civilians to the Agency’s operational thrusts and anti-drug campaign.
During the regular PDEA flag-raising ceremony held on April 27, 2015 at the PDEA National Headquarters in Quezon City, in behalf of the PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr., Assistant Secretary Abe L. Lemos, Deputy Director General for Operations, presented to the awardees their plaques of recognition for their significant anti-drug accomplishments.

PDEA GIVES AWAY P4.6 MILLION REWARD TO 10 INFORMANTS
Ten informants received over P4.6 million in cash rewards from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on March 23, 2015 under the PDEA Operation: Private Eye (OPE), a reward and incentive scheme designed to encourage private citizens to report any suspected illegal drug activities in their community.
PDEA Director General Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. commended the civilian informants identified only through their codenames: Axcel, Noy, Tolendoy, Paulo, Abel, Brix, Coleen Sarmiento, Cold Ice, Ice and Jun, for providing information that led to the arrest of several local and foreign drug personalities, the confiscation of voluminous amounts of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, and the dismantling of two large-scale clandestine laboratories used in the manufacture of illegal drugs.

PDEA HOSTS ASEAN NARCOTICS CONTROL MEETING
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), in coordination with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretariat, will host the 2nd Intersessional Working Group Meeting on Law Enforcement under the ASEAN Senior Officials on Drugs (ASOD) on March 17, 2015 at the PDEA Main Conference Room, PDEA National Headquarters in Quezon City.
ASOD is a forum for ASEAN cooperation in drugs and narcotics control aimed to consolidate and strengthen collaboration efforts in the control and prevention of drug problems in the region.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) cited the exemplary contributions of its six PDEA Regional Offices and the Philippine National Police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (PNP-AIDSOTF) to the national anti-drug campaign.
During the regular PDEA flag-raising ceremony held on March 16, 2015 at the PDEA National Headquarters in Quezon City, PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr., recognized the following PDEA Regional Offices: PDEA Regional Office 1 under Director Adrian G. Alvariño; PDEA Regional Office 7 under Director Jeffrey A. Bangsa; PDEA Regional Office 3 under Director Jeoffrey C. Tacio were awarded the Natatanging Paglilingkod Award. PDEA Special Enforcement Service under Director Ismael G. Fajardo; PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region under Director Erwin S. Ogario, PDEA Regional Office 2 under Director Juvenal B. Azurin, were awarded the Natatanging Karangalan Award. The Special Operations Unit 3 of the PNP Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force was awarded of the Plaque of Recognition.
