A barangay chairman was arrested by joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) during an implementation of a search warrant in Ilocos Norte on March 13, 2017.

PDEA Director General Isidro S. Lapeña identified the suspect as Mark Lester Doronio y Agno, 34 years old, an incumbent barangay chairman and resident of Sitio Cabuluan, Barangay 21, San Marcos, Sarrat, Ilocos Norte.

Combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police arrested four suspects in possession of dried marijuana leaves during a music and arts festival in Puerto Galera.

PDEA Director General Isidro S. Lapeña identified the suspects as Remar Nieva, 28 years old, a resident of West Washington Drive, Legaspi City, Albay; Charles Maurice, 33, a US citizen, of Pasig City; Ron Earvin Dungca, 28, a businessman from Angeles City; and Patricia Rodulfa, 23, a resident of San Fernando City, Pampanga.

An incumbent barangay kagawad and his cohort were arrested by combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police during an authorized search in Iriga City on March 11, 2017.

PDEA Director General Isidro S. Lapeña identified the suspects as Alan Alanis y Nacario, 47 years old, a barangay kagawad and resident of Barangay San Nicolas, Iriga City, Camarines Sur; and Aldrin Cadag y Marmol, 46, also a resident of Barangay San Nicolas

An employee of the Department of Health and his cohort were arrested in Tacloban City after selling methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, to a poseur-buyer on March 12, 2017.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Isidro S. Lapeña identified the suspects as Caesar Jim Obillo y Ablates, 34 years old, a radiologic technologist assigned at the DOH Schistosomiasis Control and Research Center in Tacloban City and a resident of Santa Cruz, Quinapondan, Eastern Samar; and his cohort Randy Borja y Cabalan, alias Ronron, 25, a trisikad/padyak driver, of District I, Poblacion, Jaro, Leyte.
