Methamphetamine hydrochloride, or popularly known a shabu worth P95 million was discovered inside an abandoned vehicle in Quezon City on February 9, 2017.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Isidro S. Lapeña said that illegal drug, weighing more or less 19 kilograms and placed inside two blue water containers, was concealed in the trunk of a blue Mitsubishi Lancer with plate number WPB-418.

 

At about 9:45 in the evening, joint elements of PDEA Special Enforcement Service (PDEA-SES) under Director Ismael Fajardo Jr. and PDEA Intelligence and Investigation Service (PDEA-IIS) under Director Randy Pedroso discovered the abandoned shabu inside the trunk’s vehicle along Tangali Street, Barangay San Jose, Quezon City.

Information from a confidential informant led to the recovery of the vehicle.

Verification on the seized vehicle revealed that it is registered to a certain Pablito Gacad Concepcion of Acacia Street, Seaview Subdivision, Noveleta, Cavite.
