MOA SIGNING BETWEEN PDEA AND SSS
A memorandum of agreement (MOA) between the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Social Security System was signed to give full support to cover the contractual, job-order and permanent personnel as members under the Social Security Law of the Philippines.
Present at the event were signatories PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G Cacdac, Jr. and SSS Senior Vice President Judy Frances A. See who finalized the agreement in a ceremony held on September 07, 2015 at 9:00 am at the PDEA National Headquarters in Quezon City.

Joint PDEA/ DOH-FDA Advisory Prohibiting the Use of Hempseed oil or their Varieties and Derivatives from Cannabis or Marijuana in Consumer Products and their automatic surrender to PDEA or FDA

JOINT PDEA/DOH-FDA ADVISORY PROHIBITING THE USE OF HEMPSEED OIL OR THEIR VARIETIES AND DERIVATIVES FROM CANNABIS OR MARIJUANA IN CONSUMER PRODUCTS AND ITS AUTOMATIC SURRENDER TO PDEA OR FDA
For the protection of the consuming public against hazards to their health and to safeguard them from the harmful effects of dangerous drugs, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hereby adopt and issue this joint advisory to warn the public consumer not to buy or use hempseed oil or their varieties and derivatives from Cannabis or commonly known as “Marijuana” or “Indian Hemp” from the specie of the plant Cannabis Sativa L, including but not limited to, Cannabis Americana, hashish, bhang, guaza, churrus and ganjab or by its any other name and to report and surrender these prohibited products immediately to FDA or PDEA.
PDEA GIVES RECOGNITION TO 3 REGIONAL OFFICES, NAIA-IADITG AND LAGRO HIGH SCHOOL, QUEZON CITY
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) gave recognition to its three regional offices, Ninoy Aquino International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG) and Lagro High School, Quezon City for their significant anti-drug operations.
PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. personally presented the plaques of recognition and awards to the awardees during the agency’s flag-raising ceremony on July 20, 2015 at the PDEA National Headquarters in Quezon City.
PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region (PDEA RO-NCR) under Director III Erwin S. Ogario received the “Wagas na Paglilingkod Award” for the successful conduct of a buy-bust operation on June 22, 2015 along Mall of Asia, Pasay City which resulted the confiscation of one kilogram of shabu with an estimated value of P3.5 million pesos and the arrest of a drug personality.ational Headquarters in Quezon City.
P205.37 MILLION WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS DESTROYED BY PDEA
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) today, June 16, 2015 destroyed P205.37 million worth of dangerous drugs.
“Destroyed were a total of 119,690.9 grams (119.6909 kilograms) of assorted pieces of drug evidence composed of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, cocaine, marijuana, diazepam or valium, alprazolam and expired medicines,” said Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr., Director General, PDEA.
